Shelter, stock fodder. Height 8-10m. A small, bushy, fast growing evergreen tree. An excellent source of stock fodder & bee forage. Good medium height shelter tree that will grow in most soil types, is drought & frost tolerant once established. Makes an ideal nurse crop for growing natives. Favourite food of New Zealand native Wood Pigeons.
Recommended pre germination seed treatment: Seed requires scarification before sowing. Hot water treatment works well for this species (For details refer to Propagation Information tab at top of page / Seed Dormancy).
