The best known of NZ native Clematis species, paniculata is found in forests & bush throughout New Zealand it can climb 10 m or more is a spectacular sight in spring when it's profusion of white flowers tumble from the treetops.
Recommended pre germination seed treatment: Seed germinates without pre treatment. 4 weeks cold stratification will help speed up and even out germination time. (For details refer to Propagation Information tab at top of page / Seed Dormancy).
