A shrub or small tree to 6m with large mottled green leaves. Bears orange drupes in great profusion in autumn. Naturally occurring throughout NZ from sea level to 1000m.
Recommended pre germination seed treatment: Seed germinates without pre treatment. 4 weeks cold stratification will help speed up and even out germination time. (For details refer to Propagation Information tab at top of page / Seed Dormancy).
