Small tree 8-10m. Branched & wide spreading, Five Finger is one of our commonest native trees. Found from North Cape to Southland, from sea level to 760m. Fast growing & hardy.
Recommended pre germination seed treatment: Seed germinates without pre treatment. 4 weeks cold stratification will help speed up and even out germination time. (For details refer to Propagation Information tab at top of page / Seed Dormancy).
