Shelter, timber, firewood, erosion control. Height 15m. The timber of this tree is ground durable. Dislikes wet conditions but will grow in most soils, tolerating coastal conditions. Frost tolerance good.
Recommended pre germination seed treatment: Seed requires scarification before sowing. Hot water treatment works well for this species (For details refer to Propagation Information tab at top of page / Seed Dormancy).
