Alnus glutinosa - Black Alder, Common Alder
Shelter, timber, firewood, ornamental. Height 20-25m. A fast growing deciduous tree. When side trimmed it leafs out & retains its lower branches. Will grow in most soil types, withstanding water logging & coastal conditions. Very frost hardy.
