One of New Zealand's most beautiful and spectacular native flowering plants. A perennial with huge glossy, deeply veined leaves and sprays of beautiful blue flowers in late spring . Occurring naturally only on the Chatham Islands but cultivated throughout the mainland. Mild frost tolerance only, prefers a sheltered position.
Recommended pre germination seed treatment: Seed germinates without pre treatment. Sow seed direct from packet & keep moist until germination is complete.
