Sophora tetraptera has larger leaves than Sophora microphylla and green/yellow flowers. It is a native New Zealand leguminous tree that flowers profusely from September to November. Flowers at a younger age, and has larger blooms than S. microphylla . Nectar is attractive to birds and bees.
Recommended pre germination seed treatment: Seed requires scarification before sowing. Mechanical scarification works best for this species.
